Longevity claimant

Zhu Zhengshi [Chinese: 朱郑氏] (born 21 September 1900?) is a Chinese longevity claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Zhu Zhengshi claims to have been born in China on 21 September 1900. She is Hakka. Since a fall in 2015, she walks with a walker. She celebrated her claimed 120th birthday in September 2020. She is currently one of 6 living generations in her family.

In October 2021, Zhu participated to a "thousand years banquet" [Chinese: 千岁宴] with other elderly people, including her oldest daughter (aged 87 in 2021). According to her great-granddaughter Guo Xiujuan [Chinese: 郭秀娟], her good behavior and appetite are the secrets of her longevity.

Zhu Zhengshi currently lives in Yunhua Community in Shengli Town, Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Sichuan, China at the claimed age of 121 years, 26 days.

Potential Longevity Records

If Zhu's age is correct, she would be the oldest living person in the world, and the second-oldest person ever. Zhu Zhengshi would also be the last surviving person born in the year 1900 and the 19th century but the verified holder of that title is Nabi Tajima of Japan.
