Xu Senzhen [Chinese: 徐素珍] (born 22 September 1907) is a Chinese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Xu Senzhen was allegedly born on 22 September 1907 by solar calendar, in Hai'an county, situated in Nantong, Jiangsu, Qing dynasty (now China). She married and had three children (one deceased as of October 2020): two sons, and a daughter (Chu Junli). She is vegetarian, and likes playing cards.

In 2018, Senzhen was reported to be the oldest person in Shanghai; her predecessor, Luo Shimin, went to limbo. At the age of 111, she was reported to lose her eyesight and her hearing, but to have a clear mind. Her daughter said that Senzhen is kind, optimistic, and even if she's thrifty, she's ready to help people in difficulty.

Xu Senzhen currently lives in Huangpu District, Shanghai, China, at the age of 113 years, 266 days.
