Wijtske van Dijk-Meindersma (11 February 1902 – 10 November 2010) was the oldest living person in The Netherlands, after the death of 107-year-old Bertha van Hasselt on 16 October 2009.
Wijtske van Dijk-Meindersma was born in Warnswerd, Gelderland, The Netherlands, on 11 February 1902. She was married to Dirk van Dijk, a pastor of the Reformed Churches in the Netherlands, who made the Island of Ameland a populair tourist attraction. She lived in Leeuwarden and on the island of Ameland, but later in her life, she eventually moved to Peize, in the province of Drenthe, to be near family. When Ms. Van Hasselt died, Wijtske was 'just' 107 years and 247 days old, making her the youngest oldest living person in The Netherlands since 1976.
Wijtske van Dijk-Meindersma died in Peize, Drenthe, The Netherlands, on 10 November 2010 at the age of 108 years, 272 days. Following her death, Geertruida Draaisma became the oldest living person in The Netherlands.
