Tjeerd Epema (16 June 1906 – 1 April 2013) was a Dutch centenarian who was the oldest known living man in the Netherlands at the time of his death.
Biography
Epema was born in the village of Easterlittens in 1906. He became the oldest living man in the Netherlands on 16 March 2013, when Arie Vermeulen died. Epema held the title for 16 days. He died in his sleep at the retirement home he was living at, aged 106. Serop Mirzoyan, who was allegedly 15 days younger, then became the oldest Dutch man.
