Josefa Maria da Conceicao [Portuguese: Conceiçao] (7 February 1902? – 27 February 2023) was a Brazilian longevity claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Guinness World Records (GWR). If her claimed age were validated, she would have been older than the world's oldest validated person Maria Branyas Morera, and the oldest living person in Brazil, being older than Inah Canabarro Lucas.

Biography

Josefa Maria da Conceicao claimed to have been born in Brazil on 7 February 1902. She had 22 children, four of whom are alive in October 2019, including Sebastiao Rozendo.

In 2019, she had 36 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 42 great-great-grandchildren. She smokes since the childhood. According to her, the secret of longevity is to sleep well and eat well. Her daughter, Cicera Rozendo, revealed what kind of food her mother always ate: Farm food: macaxeira, yam, potatoes, string beans, guandu beans, fava beans, maize, cornmeal, all of it, peanuts.

Josefa Maria da Conceicao died in Pilar, Maceio, Alagoas, Brazil on 27 February 2023, at the claimed age of 121 years, 20 days.
