Take Taniguchi (Japanese: 谷口タケ; born 5 February 1909) is a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Take Taniguchi was born on 5 February 1909 in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. In September 2018, she was reported as the ninth-oldest person in Hokkaido Prefecture. She became a supercentenarian in February 2019. In September 2019, she was reported as the second-oldest living person in Hokkaido Prefecture, behind Misao Yamashita of Sapporo.
Taniguchi currently lives in Muroran, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan at the age of 111 years, 337 days.
