Sylvia Msoka Chembe (22 October 1905 – 25 November 2015) was a Zambian supercentenarian claimant. She was born in Kalela village in Senior Chief Kalindawalo on 22 October 1905. She later became a freedom fighter and fought for Zambia’s independence. In 2013, in Kitwe, the late Zambian president Michael Sata awarded her with the Champion Order of Freedom in the First Division.
Msoka Chembe passed away 25 November 2015 in Minga Mission Hospital in Petauke, Zambia.[1] If her age is true, she could be one of the oldest people ever from Zambia.
