Stephen Todd (3 June 1905 – 4 July 2011) was a New Zealand centenarian who may have been (citation needed) New Zealand's oldest living man for the last three months of his life.

Biography

Todd had five other siblings. He first worked in the coal mines at Blackhall with his father at the age of 14. He arrived in New Zealand on 5 January 1925 after work at the mines became scarce.

Todd married Alice Friend on 21 December 1927. They had three children: Ivan, Thelma, and Nola. Todd failed his medical exam, so he did not participate during World War II. Alice Todd died in 1986, and Stephen never remarried.

Todd became New Zealand's oldest living man after John Patrick Roache died on 4 April 2011. After Todd's death, Harry Duncan Andrews became New Zealand's oldest living man.
