Silverio Pereira Ayala (9 June 1907? – May 2018) was a Paraguayan supercentenarian claim whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If his age were true, he would have been the oldest man to ever die in Paraguay.

Biography

Silverio Pereira Ayala claimed to have been born in Ybycui, Paraguari, Paraguay on 9 June 1907. His younger brother, Juan Jose Pereira Ayala, passed away on 26 October 2018 at the age of 105. On his claimed 110th birthday, he also had a living sister, Anastacia, who lived in Ybycui and was almost 100 years old at that time. Both Silverio and Juan were ex-combatants of the Chaco War (1932-1935) and after war they moved to Natalio, Itapua Department. Silverio never married nor had children.

Until the age of 80, he used to eat a lot of beef, but after he only ate chicken thighs, cakes made of corn and milk with biscuit.

Silverio passed away in May 2018 in Natalio, Itapua Department, Paraguay at the claimed age of 110 years, 326-356 days. He lived with his brother, Juan Jose, and his brother's granddaughter, Zunilda.
