Shige Hirooka (16 January 1897 – 29 March 2011) was a validated Japanese supercentenarian.


Shige Hirooka was born in Japan on 16 January 1897. She lived in Osaka prefecture and died on 29 March 2011 at the age of 114 years and 72 days, being the oldest ever from her prefecture at that time[1]. Her death report was not reported until August 2011, like Hatsue Ono's death report on February 23, 2013[2].
