Satoru lives in Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture. He is the oldest living man in Chiba Prefecture and the sixth-oldest living man (citation needed). He is also the second-oldest living person in Chiba Prefecture, after [[Anonymous of Chiba]].

At the age of 106, he had difficulties with hearing, but still enjoyed reading newspapers and watching sumo and news on TV. In September 2015, he was the oldest living man in Chiba Prefecture and the second-oldest (known) living person in Chiba Prefecture, after the [[Anonymous of Chiba|anonymous woman of Kashiwa]].

Satoru Tomizawa (Japanese: 冨澤覺; 10 March 1905 – December 2015) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Tomizawa was born in Japan on 10 March 1905. He never had any serious illness. He drove an old man's car until the age of 100 and enjoyed playing gateball until the age of 103. At the age of 106, he had difficulties with hearing, but still enjoyed reading newspapers and watching sumo and news on TV. In September 2015, he was the oldest living man in Chiba Prefecture and the second-oldest (known) living person in Chiba Prefecture, after the anonymous woman of Kashiwa.
