Samuel "Sam" Ledward (9 November 1906 – 18 August 2015) was, at the time of his death, the oldest living man in Wales.

Ledward was born on 9 November 1906 and worked as a cabinet-maker and as a butcher. At the age of 30 after a motorbike accident, doctors had decleared him dead. He was found to be alive after an eagle-eyed man saw his hand move, and found he was still warm. [1] He spent much of his childhood in Winsford. He married a woman named Edith in 1940 and the two lived in Blackpool. Edith died in 1993. Two years later, Ledward moved to Flintshire to live with Edith's cousin Millie Minshall, 92.

He died on 18 August 2015 at the age of 108.[2][3] After his death, Clifford Parfitt, 107, became the oldest man in Wales.
