Sam Baker ,was was born aboard a ship from Poland to Canada on December 19 1903 and died on 8 August,
2013.He was the oldest Jewish person in Winnipeg.He started using a walker since he was 108 and had hearing problems.He married Joan in 1940,and had 3 children (a son named Steven and two daughters).His son credits his longevity to him walking a lot.He use to walk one mile per day untill he devloped back problems in his 90s.He died on 8 August 2013, and was surprassed in the title of the oldest living canadian man by an unidentified 109 years old from Saskatchewan.
