Sadie Mae Caver (née Stoudenmire) (1 April 1888? – 21 November 2003) was an American supercentenarian claimant to age 116 (according to Find-a-Grave) who, if her case was verified at age 115, would have been the world's oldest person from the death of Adelina Domingues in August 2002 until her own death in November 2003. Her case is currently unverified.
Sadie Caver was supposedly born Sadie Stoudenmire in Autauga, Alabama, USA, on 1 April 1888. Her parents were Neal and Mittie (née Chapell) Stoudenmire. She had several siblings. Sadie married Herbert Caver on 11 October 1925 and had an unknown number of children with him. One of their children was named John.
Sadie's father-in-law, Wash Caver, died around 1929. Sadie made an SSA application claim in March 1966, and it states her birth date as being 1 April 1888. In her final years, she was wheelchair-bound.
Sadie Caver died on 21 November 2003 in Capital Hill Nursing Home, Montgomery, Alabama, at the claimed age of 115 years, 234 days. If her age claim to 115 were verified, she would have been the world's oldest person for over a year.
