Montecillo Codilla claimed to have been born in Sogod, Cebu, Philippines on 14 June 1909. She was crowned Miss Sogod in 1927. She had 4 children. She celebrated her claimed 110th birthday in June 2019.
Montecillo Codilla died in Talisay, Cebu, Philippines on 5 January 2021 at the claimed age of 111 years, 205 days.
