Rosa Florentino (2 July 1902 - 12 June 2015) was a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
The retired was born on July 3, 1902, in Rio de Janeiro, and lived in Américo Brasiliense for 20 years. She had 12 biological children and four other foster children. Among grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren are more than 100.
She married at 14 with an older man chosen by her mother. “I married a widower and lived very well because he was an accordion player and where he would take me. I would sit next to him, he would play the accordion and I would sit ”.
Rosa explained that in addition to the glass of wine she occasionally drank, she needed joy to live a long time. “Where I live nobody gets sad because I don't leave. It's the whole day of joy, ”he said in the interview.
