Roar William Gulbrandsen (29 May 1914 – 22 November 2019) was a Norwegian centenarian who was the oldest living man in Norway at the time of his death.

Biography

Gulbrandsen was born on 29 May 1914. In 1941, aged 27, he married his wife Kirsten, and the couple celebrated 75 years of marriage in 2016.

Gulbrandsen became the oldest man in Norway following the death of Alf Johansen on 14 September 2019. He died in Skedsmo, Oestlandet, Norway, on 22 November 2019 at the age of 105 years, 177 days. Upon his death, Vestlandet's Alf Olsen became the oldest man in Norway.
