Longevity claimant

Reyes Huerta (6 January 1847? – 1 January 1966) was a Mexican-American longevity claimant.

Huerta was allegedly born in Mexico in 1847, to an Indian father and a Spanish mother. She moved to Cameron, Texas, in the early 1910s. She had a daughter, Jesusa Facundo Ramirez, who was reportedly born in 1893, meaning that Huerta would have been 46 when she gave birth.

Huerta died in Cameron, Texas, on 1 January 1966 at the claimed age of 118 years, 360 days. If her age were verified, she would have surpassed the all-time verified record holder at the time, Delina Filkins, by more than five years.

At the time of her death, Huerta reportedly had seven grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great-grandchild.
