Paz Mendiola Sablan (born 30 September 1917) is a Guamanian centenarian who is currently the oldest known living person in Guam.
Biography
Paz Mendiola Sablan was born in Guam on 30 September 1917. Her husband Pedro Chargualaf Sablan died in 1973.
On 24 May 2018, local centenarians were celebrated at a Senior Citizens Month celebration on at an event organized by the Department of Public Health and Social Services Division of Senior Citizens. Besides Paz Mendiola Sablan (aged 100 at that time), centenarians at event were Josefina Blas (aged 103) and Hae Im Yu Shim (aged 101).
She became the oldest known living person in Guam following the death of 105 year-old Josefina Blas on 24 June 2020.
Paz Mendiola Sablan currently lives in Yigo, Guam at the age of 103 years, 114 days.
