Pauline Emilie Sevaille [French: Sévaille] (20 November 1890 – 29 August 2002) was a French supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the oldest validated person born in metropolitan France at the time of her death.


Sevaille was born in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, France, on 20 November 1890. She was the second-oldest known person in France after Algerian-born Anne Primout from 18 April 2002 until her death.

Sevaille died in Eure, Normandy, France, on 29 August 2002 at the age of 111 years, 282 days. Her claim was validated by Laurent Toussaint and Jean-Marie Robine, and was officially validated by the GRG on 21 January 2004.
