Paula Baumgartner (16 August 1881 – 24 February 1993) - was a validated German supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in Germany.

Biography

Paula Baumgartner was born in Germany on Aug. 16, 1881. She became the oldest living person in Germany after the passing of 109-year old Elfried Libbert on Oct. 30, 1989 and held the title for three consecutive years until her own death on Feb. 24, 1993 at the age of 111 years, 192 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest person who ever lived in Germany, having broken the longevity record of Katharina Braun .
