Olive Evelyn Boar (née Macro; 29 September 1904 – 28 August 2018) was a British supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in the United Kingdom at the time of her death. She was also the last surviving British person born before 1906. Her age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography
Boar was born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, UK on 29 September 1904. She was the fourth of eight children born to William Robert Macro (1877–1969) and Alice Osborn (1876–1973). She married Claude Charles Boar (1901–1979) in 1932, and had two children. As of 2018, her younger sister was still living at the age of 101.
In her later life, Boar lived in Felixtowe, Suffolk, England, UK. She died on 28 August 2018 at the age of 113 years, 333 days.

Boar became the oldest living person in United Kingdom following the death of 113 year-old Bessie Camm on 11 May 2018. She also became the last surviving British person born in 1904, as well as the last born before 1906 (as the last surviving Brit born in 1905, Alice Ducat, died in December 2017).
Boar died on 28 August 2018 at the age of 113 years, 333 days. Following her death, 111 year-old Grace Catherine Jones became the UK's oldest living person. At the time of her death, Boar was the tenth-oldest ever British person on record.
