Okagi Hayashi (Japanese: 林おかぎ; born 2 September 1909) is a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Hayashi was born in Japan on 2 September 1909. She had 9 children (one deceased as of 2019).
On 24 October 2013, she became the oldest living person in Toki City. She became the oldest living person in Gifu Prefecture upon the death of Tsuyo Wada on 24 June 2019. In September 2019, she celebrated her 110th birthday. Soon after, she was reported as the oldest living person in Gifu Prefecture and was visited by the Mayor of Toki, Junji Kato. At that time, she had 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Hayashi currently lives in Tsumagicho, Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, at the age of 114 years, 229 days.
