Sister Odile Helene Suzanne Jeanne de Plunkett (née Dubois; born 7 January 1909) is a French supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is one of the oldest living nuns in the world.

Biography

Odile de Plunkett was born Odile Helene Suzanne Jeanne Dubois in the eighth arrondissement of Paris on 7 January 1909. She married Francis de Plunkett, who was 12.5 years her senior, on 25 July 1929 aged 20. The couple had two daughters and adopted a third. Francis passed away on 25 June 1954, four days after his 58th birthday, after almost 25 years of marriage.

In 1959, at the age of 50, de Plunkett became a nun, which she still is today. In 2019, she had 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She currently lives in a convent in Orleans, Centre-Val de Loire, France, at the age of 115 years, 102 days.
