Moacyr Nunes Barroso (born 31 March 1909) is a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).After the Death of Joao Zanol, He is the second oldest living man in Brazil.

Biography

Nunes Barroso was born on 31 March 1909 in Guanhaes, Vale do Rio Doce, Minas Gerais, Brazil. His parents were Pedro Barroso Alves and Aneglia Nunes Barroso. His wife died in 1987 at the age of 78. They had six children: Carmen (aged 84), Selma (aged 82), Eni (aged 79), Jorge (aged 73), Helena (aged 72), Paulo (aged 70), and adopted a seventh child, Neusa (aged 62), the couple's goddaughter who was adopted at the age of 9.

Nunes Barroso currently lives with his daughter Helena in Minas Gerais, Brazil, at the age of 115 years, 19 days.

He is currently the third-oldest living man in Brazil behind Joao Zanol and Olimpio Martins Pires.
