Minako Kido (Japanese: 城戸ミナコ; 18 September/31 December 1908 – 18? July 2019) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated.
Biography[]
Kido was born in Hijikawa (present-day Ozu), Ehime Prefecture, Japan, between 18 September and 31 December 1908. She got married at the age of 16 and had 6 children (at least one son). At the age of 79, she had a colorectal cancer. She was able to cook for herself until the age of 97. At the age of 100, she was hospitalized due to a fracture of her hip joint. She lived at the Kawakamiso Nursing Home (Japanese: 特別養護老人ホームかわかみ荘) in Ozu.
Kido died in Ozu, Ehime Prefecture, Japan, on or around 18 July 2019, at the age of 110 years, 199+ days.
