Matsu Uechi (11 December 1903 – 10 February 2014) was an unverified Japanese-Brazilian supercentenarian.[1] [2]


Matsu Uechi was born on 11 December 1903 in Nago, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. She migrated to Brazil in 1922. In 1925, she married Kankiti Uechi. The couple had seven children in total, two of whom died shortly after birth. Kankiti Hiroshikichi died at the age of 51 years. 

Uechi died on 10 February 2014 at the age of 110 years, 61 days in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was survived by four children, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. At the time of her death, she may have been the second-oldest living person in Brazil, after Alida Victoria Grubba Rudge
