Mary Frances Alford (née Gilder) (1 January 1888 – 20 February 1998) was an American supercentenarian who is currently unvalidated. She was one of the oldest known people in Texas at the time of her death.
Biography
Mary Alford was born Mary Frances Gilder in Woodville, Texas, USA, on 1 January 1888. She was the eighth out of (at least) 11 children born to Henry and Jane (née Beans) Gilder. She married Chatman Alford on Christmas Day 1913, a day before his 30th birthday and a week before Mary's 26th.
