Marthe Roch (née Roussas; 19 August 1907 – 21 September 2020) was a Guadeloupean French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Guadeloupe. She is the oldest validated person from Guadeloupe.

Biography

Marthe Roch was born in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe on 19 August 1907. She and her husband worked in the fields and on market stalls. They had 12 children (six girls and six boys), and are believed to have around 210 direct descendants as of 2020.

On her 113th birthday in August 2020, Roch was awarded an honorary diploma by the local council. She died in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe on 21 September 2020 at the age of 113 years, 33 days.

Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group on 27 August 2021.
