Biography
Marie Emilie Louise was allegedly born on 4 January 1902 in Diego Garcia, in today's British Indian Ocean Territory. She married Willy Codor Codor and they had three boys. All of her sons died before her and she lived with her grandson until her death. Marie worked in the plantations and for the confection of boat sails. She was Chagossian. She was known as "Tantine Boudoute" in her later years.
Marie died in Roche Bois, Port Louis, Mauritius on 5 December 2014 at the claimed age of 112 years, 335 days.
