Maria Sirianni

Maria Sirianni-Mauro (1 August 1882 – 7 January 1993) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group.

Biography

Sirianni was born on 1 August 1882, and eventually married a person with the surname Mauro. Sirianni became the oldest living Italian upon Maddalena Figone's death on 6 March 1992.

Maria Sirianni-Mauro died on 7 January 1993 at the age of 110 years, 159 days. Her successor as Italy's oldest person was Giuseppa Spolitu. She was posthumously validated by the GRG on 23 October 2003.
