Maria Mojica Torres (Spanish: María Mojica Torres; 3 May 1903 – 30 April 2014) was a Puerto Rican supercentenarian whose age is currently pending by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Maria claimed to have been born on 3 May 1895 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico as the dauughter of Galo Mojica and Ines Penalver. Her age is currently pending with a birth date of 3 May 1903. She worked as a cook for Luis Munoz Marin and Carlos Romero Barcelo, governors of Puerto Rico.
Maria had three husbands. She had one son. For some time, she lived in New York and there she founded her own store in 1990s. On her claimed 117th (109th) birthday, she was visited by Anibal Vega Borges, Mayor of Toa Baja.
Maria passed away on 30 April 2014 at 10:45 AM in her home in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico.

Allegedly, her family had a birth certificate which support 3 May 1895 as Maria's birth date. Maria claimed to be even older. The Gerontology Research Group recognised her with the 3 May 1903 birthdate. She is currently pending.
