Maria Mihai (born 5 January 1913) is a Romanian centenarian who is currently the oldest known living woman in Romania. She also is the second-oldest known living person in Romania (after Ioan Lascau).
Maria Mihai was born in Independenta, Calarasi County, Romania on 5 January 1913. She married Tudor Mihai and had six children, one of her daughters was born in September 1938.
Her husband Tudor fought on the front, was seriously injured and died at the age of 47.
As of January 2013, she had five living children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She became the oldest known living woman in Romania following the death of 107-year-old Barbara Massai on 24 September 2020.
Maria Mihai currently lives in Independenta, Calarasi County, Romania, at the age of 108 years, 17 days.
