Maria Kolk​ (née Sell; 25 November 1910 – 6 June 2018) was an Estonian centenarian who was the oldest living person in Estonia since the death of Arved Tamm on 14 November 2017 until her own death.

Biography

Maria was born on 25 November 1910 in Tartumaa, Estonia. Her parents were Andres Sell (1880 – 1955) and Emilie Adele Sell (1879 – 1969). She began to work since she was very young. Maria married Eduard Kolk (born 1910) before World War II and had three children. Her husband enlisted during the war, but did not return so she had to raise her children alone. In addition to the three children, she had 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Kolk passed away on 6 June 2018 in Voru, Estonia at the age of 107 years, 193 days.
