Maria Corba (15 August 1878 – 8 March 1989) was a Romanian-German supercentenarian whose age is officially validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography
Maria Corba was born in Izgar, Banat, Austria-Hungary (now Romania) on 15 August 1878 and died in North Rhine-Westphalia on 8 March 1989 at the age of 110 years, 205 days. She is currently the titleholder for oldest person born in Romania ever, as she is also the first and, at present, the only supercentenarian born in Romania whose age has been fully authenticated.
