Mahavatar Babaji (simply called Babaji) (30 November 203?) is an immortal yogi residing in the Himalayas.

It is said that Babaji can mutate in any living being and speak to his disciples through other forms. His name is composed of the word "Baba" which means "father" and "ji" which is an expression of respect. Many say that his extreme longevity and immortality is due to a yogic practice known as "Kaya Kalpa" which helps him to rejuvenate.

He was born on November 30, 203 and is still alive, probably at the age of 1817.
