Magdalena Kytnerova [Czech: Kytnerová] (17 March 1911 – 8 December 2019) was an Austrian-born Czech centenarian who was the oldest living person in the Czech Republic at the time of her death.

Biography

Magdalena Kytnerova was born in Modling [German: Mödling], Austria-Hungary (now Austria) on 17 March 1911. After her parents died of Spanish Flu, she was raised by her grandmother and her aunt. She married in 1942 and moved in Brno with her husband. The couple had two children. The daughter lives in Germany and her son took care of her together with his wife. She died in Kromeriz [Czech: Kroměříž], Zlin County, Czech Republic on 8 December 2019 at the age of 108 years, 266 days.

Magdalena Kytnerova became the oldest known living person in the Czech Republic after the death of 109-year-old Marie Schwarzova on 28 August 2019.

Magdalena Kytnerova died in Kromeriz, Zlin County, Czech Republic, on 8 December 2019 at the age of 108 years, 266 days.
