Louise "Lisl" Schaaf (neé Burkle [German: Bürkle]; born 16 October 1906) is a German-born American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Louise Burkle was born on 16 October 1906 in Dietlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. She emigrated to the United States at the age of 22.
At the age of 110, she had nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She lived in her own home in Chicago; cooking and baking was still her passion.
She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 117 years, 185 days.
