Louisa Wilson (born 25 July 1912) is a British centenarian who is currently the oldest known living person in Scotland.
Louisa Wilson was born on 25 July 1912 in Shawlands, Glasgow, Scotland.
Wilson's father died at a young age, leaving her mother a widow, so Wilson aided her mother with bringing up the family - including her four siblings.
Wilson moved to Paisley to begin her career as a clerical assistant. In 1940 she married Robert Wilson and the two moved to Ayr, and had two daughters: Muriel and Eleanor. Robert died in 1989.
Wilson celebrated her 108th birthday in July 2020; it was reported that Wilson was still active and lived at home - regularly taking walks and helping out with chores, and was still a member of her local church. Wilson said of the celebration: "I think we have achieved today."
Wilson became the oldest known living person in Scotland in late February 2021 following the death of Janet Mackay.
