Revision as of 10:56, 11 July 2021
This is a list of verified Finnish supercentenarians (people from Finland who have attained the age of at least 110 years). Those listed as 'validated' have been validated by an international body that specifically deals in longevity research, such as the Gerontology Research Group. Those listed as 'pending' have provided at least one document supporting the claimed age but not the three necessary for validation. Those that are 'unvalidated' have provided no documents to support the age claimed.
There have been seven validated supercentenarians from Finland. The oldest person ever from Finland was Lempi Maria Rothovius, who died in 2000, aged 112 years, 259 days. The oldest man ever from Finland was Aarne Arvonen, who died in 2009, aged 111 years, 150 days. The oldest emigrant ever from Finland was Suoma Korkee, who died in 1998, aged 112 years, 77 days. As of 19 April 2024, there are no living supercentenarians in Finland.
All Finnish supercentenarians were born in a time when Finland was an autonomous state of the Russian Empire.
