John Lillian Stubbs (née Howell; 30 April 1906 – 16 June 2018) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography
Lillian Stubbs was born in Hertford, Perquimans County, North Carolina, USA on 30 April 1906 to John Edward and Annie Elizabeth Howell. She grew up on a farm with two brothers and seven sisters.
On 27 June 1926, she married Irving Stubbs in Norfolk, Virginia, with whom she had two children: Irving Stubbs, Jr. and Dorothy Jane Stubbs Bailey. The pair were married for 55 years before the senior Irving died in 1981.
Stubbs died in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA on 16 June 2018 at the age of 112 years, 47 days.
