Lena Dick (née Schultz; 5 August 1905 – 27 February 2018) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography
Lena Dick was born Lena Helen Schultz in Midway, Cottonwood, Minnesota, USA, on 5 August 1905. Her parents were Isaac D. Schultz and Cornelia "Nellie" (née Peters) Schultz. She had 4 siblings: David (1903–1995), Albert (1907–2002), Willard (1910–1976) and Susanna (1916–1916).
Lena Dick married Jacob Dick in the 1930s. She worked on the family's farm and cared for their 3 children: Alvin, Dorothy and Willard. Jacob died in 1987 aged 84 and her son Alvin passed away in 2015 aged 79.
Dick remained in her own home until the age of 105. She passed away in Mountain Lake, Minnesota on 27 February 2018 at the age of 112 years, 206 days.
