Katerina Heyman (8 August 1896? - 17 June 2010) was a South African supercentenarian claimant.

Biography

Katerina Heyman was born in South Africa on 8 August 1896. She was three years old when Anglo Boer War begin and she and her family fled to mountain caves. There was no TV and radio when she was growing up so one of her brothers played boeremusiek on guitar and concertina to entertain them[1][2]. Katerina Heyman passed away in Millenium Sentrum nursing facility in Kensington, Johannesburg, South Africa on 17 June 2010 at the age of 113 years and 313 days[3].
