Juanita Zuniga (Spanish: Zúñiga; born July 1908) is a Chilean supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). Zuniga is also notable for being one of the oldest survivors of COVID-19, which she contracted at the age of 111 during the coronavirus pandemic.
Biography
Zuniga was born in July 1908. On 12 April 2020, she tested positive for COVID-19, however, in May 2020, she successfully recovered.
Zuniga currently lives at Hogar Italiano, Nunoa, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile.
