Juan Suarez Cedeno (Spanish: Suárez Cedeño; born 27 September 1909) is a Cuban supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Suarez Cedeno was born on Pio Rosado Street in San Luis, Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, on 27 September 1909. His parents were Aquilino Suarez and Maria Cedeno. He worked in Sierra Maestra as a coffee pruner on a farm. He worked from morning to night for one peso per day.
In 1937, he met Julia Enamorado Sanchez, his future wife, then 17 years old. His wife was still alive at the time of his 110th birthday in September 2019. They had 14 children. All of the children were born in the village of Los Negros, where Suarez Cedeno went to live after his retirement in 1969. In September 2019, he had 27 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Suarez Cedeno currently lives in Los Negros, Santiago de Cuba Province, Cuba, at the age of 111 years, 111 days.
