Jozefa Stanislawa Szyda [Polish: Józefa Stanisława Szyda] (11 March 1903 - 1 May 2013) was a Polish supercentenarian and the oldest recognized living person in Poland since the passing of 110 year old Jozefa Karczewska on 18 January 2013 until her own death on 1 May 2013 at age 110 years 51 days.[1][2]

Jozefa Stanislawa Szyda was born in the city of Turek, presently located in Greater Poland Voivodeship. She married, however, the couple never had children. Later, she moved to Lodz where, together with her husband, they run a shop. Reportedly, Mrs. Szyda was completely independent in daily activities until aged 108. She was cared by her niece. The family used to adress her as "Auntie Stachna". When asked about the secret of her longevity, she replied that the most important thing is to keep regular sleeping hours. Mrs. Szyda is the 2nd oldest person ever of Lodz Voivodeship.
