Later, she moved to Lodz where, together with her husband, they run a shop. Reportedly, Mrs. Szyda was completely independent in daily activities until aged 108. She was cared by her niece. The family used to adress her as "Auntie Stachna". When asked about the secret of her longevity, she replied that the most important thing is to keep regular sleeping hours. Mrs. Szyda is the 2nd oldest person ever of Lodz Voivodeship. |
