Jos de Kort (8 October 1900 – 12 February 2007) was a Belgian centenarian who was the oldest known man in Belgium at time of his death.

Biography

Jos de Kort was born in Turnhout, Antwerp, Belgium on 8 October 1900. At the some point in life, he married Francine Decorte. Together with his wife, he ran a shop in fabrics and curtains.

He became the oldest known living man in the Belgium following the death of 106-year-old Marcel Duguet on 2 May 2006.

Jos de Kort died in Turnhout, Antwerp, Belgium on 12 February 2007 at the age of 106 years, 127 days. Following his death, then-106-year-old Jan Goossenaerts became the oldest known living man in Belgium.
