Jeno Homonnay [Hungarian: Homonnay Jenő] (born 9 December 1913) is a Hungarian centenarian who is currently the oldest known living man in Hungary.

Biography

Jeno Homonnay was born in Gyöngyös, Heves County, Austria-Hungary (now Hungary) on 9 December 1913.

As a young man, he learned to ski. He graduated as a teacher of mathematics, physics and chemistry in 1936. After his schools, he went up to Pest to look for work. He ended up at the Péti Petroleum Industry Company. He married during World War II. He retired in 1980. He was still able to ski at the age of 100.

He became the oldest known living man in Hungary following the death of 106-year-old Jozsef Kasalyak on 29 February 2020.

Jeno Homonnay currently lives in a nursing home in Várpalota, Veszprém County, Hungary, at the age of 106 years, 349 days.
