Jeanne Bot (born 14 January 1905) is a French supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is the second-oldest living person in France and Europe behind Lucile Randon.

Biography

Bot was born in the citadel of Mont Louis where her father was a soldier. She spent fifty years as a bookkeeper in a car garage on Poincare Boulevard in Perpignan. She never married and had no children.

Bot currently lives in Perpignan, Pyrenees-Orientales, Occitanie, France. She reportedly has no major health problems, and is able to move with her walker between her bedroom and her living room. Her only difficulty is poor hearing but she is still able to watch television.

Following the death of Shin Matsushita on 27 August 2019, Jeanne Bot became the world's third-oldest living person.
